Brandon McCaughey

Pastor

Hello, my name is Brandon McCaughey, and my family and I moved to Incline Village in January of 2023. I  grew up in Southern California, and my amazing wife Crystal and I have been married since 2004. We have four incredible kids; Micah, Noah, Isaiah, and Harley, and our family loves to go on road trips and explore this beautiful country.

I graduated with a B.A. in Biblical Studies/Theology from Azusa Pacific University, and an M.A. in World Missions/Evangelism from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. I have also spent several years on the mission field in Turkey.
I love the Church, talking theology, reading, traveling, Angels baseball, Notre Dame college football, and swimming.

My passion is to glorify Christ in all things, and to train up the church to know the Word of God. I love people, and want to get to know everyone in the church, so anytime you want to connect with me, please email and let’s spend some time together!

Amber Pluckhan

Children's Ministry Director

Hello! My name is Amber Pluckhan and I feel so blessed to be apart of Cornerstone Community Church and the Children’s Ministry here. I moved to Incline Village in May of 2019 with my husband, Ryan and our daughter, Avery. We have loved every second of living in this wonderful community and exploring all Lake Tahoe has to offer. I have a background in teaching elementary education and I love incorporating my experience into the church classrooms as well as our MOPS meetings. As the Children’s Ministry Team Lead, it is an honor to walk alongside families and help each child learn as well as grow in their faith. As a parent, I understand the importance we have in raising up these next generations and providing children with Biblical skills and principles to live in this world and be imitators of Christ. In our Children’s Ministry, we strive to walk with parents in cultivating their child’s faith so that they not only know who their Lord and Savior is, but they would continually lean into Him and His Word daily and in every season. I look forward to meeting you and your children whether it is on Sunday mornings for service, Monday mornings for MOPS, or during any of our amazing and fun events we have in store!

Matthew Campbell

Church Administrator

Hello and thank you for stopping in to look at the amazing people I get to work with every day!! How can you not fall in love with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ when you see how abundantly He is working in and fulfilling each of these people’s lives. I moved to the North Shore of Tahoe in 2002 and fell in love with its natural beauty, the people and the amazing weather we get to enjoy here all year long! I  have a degree in business administration from The University of Texas at San Antonio. I first came to the Lord when I was about 11 years old. My dream as a young boy was to be a pastor. Like so many of us, I fell away from my walk with Christ during my teens and young adult life only to be nudged many times by the Holy Spirit to come back to my Father, my Savior and my truest Friend, Jesus Christ. He is, after all, the only one, EVER, that will never stop listening to me, never stop loving me and never stop being there for me!! I love getting to do all the things that the church needs to get done to thrive within the community. Keeping the church on track, open and ready to serve the community at a moment’s notice is what it’s all about! We are eager to offer assistance in any way we are called on to help those in need. Please email or call if there is something on your heart that you would like us to know about.

Nolan Umana

Elder

My name is Nolan, I have been attending Cornerstone since 2018 and started serving on the Elder board in 2021. I like serving the church in many ways, but I am most excited about bringing Jesus to our community through outreach and encouraging people to tap into their God given abilities to spread the gospel in a God honoring and loving way. Life outside the elder board includes being an entrepreneur, a business owner, and enjoying all the activities that Tahoe has to offer. My wife Jessica and I like to live a life full of adventure, life-giving relationships, new experiences, and gratitude. We have been blessed with two beautiful children that bring us so much joy on this journey of life.

Jason Gibeaut

Elder

My name is Jason Gibeaut. I serve as the Fire Chief for Northstar Fire Department. My beautiful wife of 28 years, Liz, works as the Administrative Assistant to the North Tahoe Middle School. We have 3 wonderful children – Tilley (25 y.o), Teddy (23 y.o) and Ginny (17 y.o.). We have lived in Lake Tahoe – specifically, Kings Beach – for the last 20 years.
I believe my call to serve as an elder is important and not be taken lightly. I humbly pray that I may glorify and honor Him by serving in such capacities as defined in the book of Titus. As such, I hope to guide and protect our church while demonstrating Christ’s sacrificial love and faithfulness while doing it.
I am so thankful for Cornerstone Community Church. This church and its members have ministered to my family greatly. I have been able to develop such wonderful relationships with so many of you. I look forward to continuing in fellowship, “getting our hands dirty together” and worshiping with you this wonderful God of ours. Thank you.
