Brandon McCaughey

Pastor

Hello, my name is Brandon McCaughey, and my family and I moved to Incline Village in January of 2023. I  grew up in Southern California, and my amazing wife Crystal and I have been married since 2004. We have four incredible kids; Micah, Noah, Isaiah, and Harley, and our family loves to go on road trips and explore this beautiful country.

I graduated with a B.A. in Biblical Studies/Theology from Azusa Pacific University, and an M.A. in World Missions/Evangelism from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. I have also spent several years on the mission field in Turkey.
I love the Church, talking theology, reading, traveling, Angels baseball, Notre Dame college football, and swimming.

My passion is to glorify Christ in all things, and to train up the church to know the Word of God. I love people, and want to get to know everyone in the church, so anytime you want to connect with me, please email and let’s spend some time together!

Jessica Umana

Marketing Director

Hi, Lake Tahoe families and visitors! As Children’s Ministry Director, I am passionate about delivering children’s programming and events that are exciting, engaging, and applicable for children, parents, and volunteers. Our kids’ ministry team is committed to teaching biblical truths, exploring the loving nature of God the Father, and affirming our Christian faith. Our prayer is that we can spark a love of faith, love of learning about Jesus, and set every child up for a successful and loving relationship with our Creator and all those around us. I look forward to working with you and your family as we work together to raise our children up in the way they should go!

Amber Pluckhan

Children's Ministry Director

Hello! My name is Amber Pluckhan and I feel so blessed to be apart of Cornerstone Community Church and the Children’s Ministry here. I moved to Incline Village in May of 2019 with my husband, Ryan and our daughter, Avery. We have loved every second of living in this wonderful community and exploring all Lake Tahoe has to offer. I have a background in teaching elementary education and I love incorporating my experience into the church classrooms as well as our MOPS meetings. As the Children’s Ministry Team Lead, it is an honor to walk alongside families and help each child learn as well as grow in their faith. As a parent, I understand the importance we have in raising up these next generations and providing children with Biblical skills and principles to live in this world and be imitators of Christ. In our Children’s Ministry, we strive to walk with parents in cultivating their child’s faith so that they not only know who their Lord and Savior is, but they would continually lean into Him and His Word daily and in every season. I look forward to meeting you and your children whether it is on Sunday mornings for service, Monday mornings for MOPS, or during any of our amazing and fun events we have in store!

Matthew Campbell

Church Administrator

Hello and thank you for stopping in to look at the amazing people I get to work with every day!! How can you not fall in love with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ when you see how abundantly He is working in and fulfilling each of these people’s lives. I moved to the North Shore of Tahoe in 2002 and fell in love with its natural beauty, the people and the amazing weather we get to enjoy here all year long! I  have a degree in business administration from The University of Texas at San Antonio. I first came to the Lord when I was about 11 years old. My dream as a young boy was to be a pastor. Like so many of us, I fell away from my walk with Christ during my teens and young adult life only to be nudged many times by the Holy Spirit to come back to my Father, my Savior and my truest Friend, Jesus Christ. He is, after all, the only one, EVER, that will never stop listening to me, never stop loving me and never stop being there for me!! I love getting to do all the things that the church needs to get done to thrive within the community. Keeping the church on track, open and ready to serve the community at a moment’s notice is what it’s all about! We are eager to offer assistance in any way we are called on to help those in need. Please email or call if there is something on your heart that you would like us to know about.

Ron Falstad

Elder

I have been married 48 years to Marsha, my high school sweetheart, and have 4 wonderful daughters, 4 great son-in-laws who all love the Lord. We have 15 energetic and lively grandkids. God called me to be a Christian in my late 20’s after becoming a Berkeley Fire fighter and being involved in some tragic events. I served in the Berkeley Fire Dept. 27 years, retiring in 2004 as an Assistant Chief. After retiring I went to Seminary and received my M.Div in 2008. I was asked to come back to the Berkeley Fire Dept as their Chaplain which I did for about 6 years. After graduation I was asked to come on staff at Grace Church Napa as their Associate Pastor, and I held that position until we moved to Lake Tahoe in 2013. I love Biblical Counseling/discipleship. The Lord provided an opportunity to come to Cornerstone Community Church in January 2017, as the interim pastor during it’s transition in leadership. I have been serving as elder since that time.

Hello, my name is Michael Sacci and I am one of the elders here at Cornerstone Community Church.  My wife and I started attending this church back when we were called LifePoint, and meeting at Incline High School. We even had the privilege of getting married here at Cornerstone Church, while it was still under construction back in 2011.  Nathalie, my high school sweetheart and I, have been blessed with 2 beautiful children Sofia and Jackson. In my past, I spent a total of 8 years serving the US Air Force, and now I currently get to serve our community as a Firefighter for North Tahoe Fire Protection District.  I am the NTF team leader for the Community Emergency Response Team, and have served 10 years coaching Incline High School’s Varsity Football program. I am so honored to have this opportunity to serve as a part of the leadership team within this amazing church.

Jason Gibeaut

Elder

My name is Jason Gibeaut. I serve as the Fire Chief for Northstar Fire Department. My beautiful wife of 28 years, Liz, works as the Administrative Assistant to the North Tahoe Middle School. We have 3 wonderful children – Tilley (25 y.o), Teddy (23 y.o) and Ginny (17 y.o.). We have lived in Lake Tahoe – specifically, Kings Beach – for the last 20 years.
I believe my call to serve as an elder is important and not be taken lightly. I humbly pray that I may glorify and honor Him by serving in such capacities as defined in the book of Titus. As such, I hope to guide and protect our church while demonstrating Christ’s sacrificial love and faithfulness while doing it.
I am so thankful for Cornerstone Community Church. This church and its members have ministered to my family greatly. I have been able to develop such wonderful relationships with so many of you. I look forward to continuing in fellowship, “getting our hands dirty together” and worshiping with you this wonderful God of ours. Thank you.
